125 computers are used at the University to give the postgraduate community better access to resources. The other 50 computers have been installed by the University at the EMDC South-Metropole. The EMDCs are responsible for providing multi-disciplinary support to the primary and secondary schools. They are supposed to offer teachers ICT-training courses but the infrastructure was lacking. With these computers, basic computer literacy courses are organized to the teachers of schools in the South-Metropole area.
